The launch of the Lexus UX in March 2019 marks the start of a new era in the City Crossover segment in the booming SUV vehicle class: for successful millenials, with female attributes and outstanding fuel economy. The UX is a real and stylish alternative for the city.
And the all-wheel-drive version of the UX also feels great off-road. Behind the compact SUV is Chica Kako, the first female chief engineer in Toyota's 82-year history. The new UX marks the beginning of a new era for Lexus as well as for Toyota and potential customers. The aim is to present it in a strong, varied and informative way - both through interviews with Emoto Mistuteru and Chica Kako and through a sequence "driving SUV without regret - one day UX in Hamburg: an environmental balance".
